Our story.

From then until now

In 2000, two graduating Facility Management students from The Hague University of Applied Sciences were placed on a business park in Gouda to research the feasibility of collective purchasing. This study led to the establishment of Facility Portal, born from the simple yet effective idea of connecting the supply and demand of facility services. The result was a “marketplace” of expertise and purchasing volume that benefits both suppliers and customers.

Founder and current CEO & owner René Koenen started this concept on a small scale at regional business parks, collectively purchasing and managing facility services for all companies located there.

Today, Facility Portal is led by Managing Director Chantal Neeleman, while René Koenen continues to serve as CEO & owner. Yet, the core concept has remained the same, because why change something that works so well?
